Women's Wellbeing #3: Mental Wellbeing
NgΔ mihi nui for a beautiful morning of Women's Wellbeing! π Last Saturday, we came together for our Mental Wellbeing Workshop β a warm, friendly space to learn, share, and take care of ourselves alongside others who understand. Thank you to Chung Nguyen from Asian Family Services for leading the session with simple, practical ways to understand stress and look after our minds, and for sending everyone home with resources to keep. Thank you also to Pavithra Shetty, founder of the Migrant Women's Social Group (MWSG) and co-lead of the Women's Wellbeing Project, for co-hosting and helping create such a supportive space. A big thank you as well to our volunteer, Patricia, for her support in making the day run smoothly. Everyone who joined us left with: π± Simple, everyday ways to care for their mind π€ A better understanding of the ups and downs of life in a new country π¬ Friendly guidance on where to find support, like counselling, when needed π Resources and tools to keep and use anytime Thank you to everyone who came along, shared, and connected with one another β this is what community care looks like.
